Introduction
This product is designed to insulate fittings preventing the formation of condensation which protects against corrosion. This lightweight material is perfect for molding around awkward items such as valves, fittings, flanges etc.
It can also be used to seal the space between insulated pipes and their ducts for service entries. Denso Tape or Denso ColourTape can be used to protect it from damage and moisture.
** Densofil should not be used with absorbent insulating material.
Description
A low temperature thermal insulation material in putty form for contouring around complex shapes such as valves, flanges etc. and filling cracks and cavities in preformed insulation sections. Can be used to seal the space between insulated pipes and ducts for service entries. Not for use with absorbent insulating material.
Composition
A petrolatum based compound containing beads of cellular polymer and flow control additives. Contains no volatile components.
